In conjunction with Degenerate Art Project III: The Conversation Continues, May 20 – June 12, 2027 at Stormwater Studios, The Jasper Project is issuing a call to visual artists across South Carolina. We’re looking for work that responds to the current socio-political environment, nationally and internationally.

This year we’re opening the call beyond the Midlands, to the whole state, and giving the exhibition more time on the walls. DAP III builds on the foundation of previous iterations with an expanded, multidisciplinary footprint across visual art, literature, performance, and community engagement. In conjunction with the exhibition, Jasper is issuing a call for literary art, poetry, critical essays, and creative non-fiction, for an anthology of work

Call for literary art.

Eligibility

Open to visual artists 18 and older currently living in South Carolina.
There is no fee to submit.

Entry Guidelines

  • Artists may submit up to three pieces.

  • 2D work must be framed, wired, and/or mounted for presentation.
