About Andrea DeForne

My name is Andrea DeForne and I am a self taught mixed media artist, specializing in illustration and painting. Ever since I was a small child I have been drawn to obscure and brilliant imagery, influencing my art every step of the way. As young as 7 years old I treasured all art supplies and you could find me drawing or creating in every corner of my house. Now as an adult I find myself being highly influenced by Japanese horror films, nature, politics, and my extremely talented friends and husband. Currently I have mostly been working with paint markers and acrylics, using frames, vintage book covers, and even cardboard as canvases. These days you can find me living in Columbia, South Carolina with my husband and best friend Davey, and our three cats Gypsy Rose, Milton, and Charlie Chaplin.
