About Mia Estrada

Artist Bio

Mia Estrada is a Latina illustrator based in Columbia, South Carolina. She specializes in digital art, but traditionally specializes in acrylic gouache, ink, and watercolor. Her art mainly features animals with a spotlight on her favorite, the horse. Mia currently attends the University of South Carolina as senior and is majoring in Studio Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design and Illustration.

Artist Statement

This collection, which I have named “Small Joys”, are subjects that are just that, things that bring me joy. All these pieces focus on the beauty of flora and fauna. I am so honored to be able to share that joy with you.
