Join Jasper on Sunday Nov. 8th at the Art Bar and help us celebrate the 15th anniversary of Jasper Magazine and the release of the fall 2026 Jasper Magazine!
We’re using this celebration to showcase some of our favorite arts and projects.
Doors open at 5 pm, and we’ll kick off the night with readings from poets Joshua Shumak, Bugsy Calhoun, and Catalina Zavala Olvera, all featured in this issue.
Next, we’ll screen some of the winning films from the 2nd Act Film Project.
Then, in honor of the Monday After Dinner Cabaret (which we write about in this issue), we’ll hear cabaret performances from Clayton King, Cathy Hartzog, and the multi-talented Sam McWhite.
Closing out the night, live music from:

All evening, Jackie Bobo and Betsy Halford will be showing and selling their work, and you can make your own mini monoprint or artist trading card outside.
And there will be CAKE!
