8:00 PM: 2nd Act Film Showcase | Free Screening

The 2nd Act Film Project is a unique take on the film project concept. Filmmakers are given the same 1st and 3rd acts of a short film script, they then write the 2nd act and make the movie. Experience can range from professional to novice, but the goal of the 2nd Act Film Project is to curate a diverse group of 10 independent filmmaking voices that best represent South Carolina as an inclusive whole.

The 2nd Act Film Showcase includes: The Muse, Amy Brower (2019), Dolor, Silas James Rowland (2019), Shine, Ian O'Briant (2018), Down in the Dark, Daljit Kalsi (2018), Overture, Chad Henderson (2017), Apples to Oranges, Smith Austin (2017), All Seeing, Chris White (2016), Eva’s Plug, Tamara Finkbeiner (2015), Watergated, Brad Wagster(2015), Crosswalk, Alexis Stratton (2013)
