Artist Bio:
My art is from living and working in rural and metropolitan environments. My studios have taken me to Italy, New York, Southwest and Deep South U.S. In all I find artistic direction in the natural world.

Artist Statement:
These pieces explore texture and form working to create a tension. Collage, acrylic, oil, sandpaper, blueprints, tape, putty knives and ink are all utilized to create and remove medium. The pieces have taken on different appearances over time. This is the final result. It's all about the process.
