JASPER WRITES! A New Opportunity for SC Writers

Cindi Boiter April 14, 2021

JASPER WRITES!

The Jasper Project invites SC writers and writers with a connection to SC to submit poetry and prose for weekly publication on the Jasper Project website.

Jasper is delighted to announce our newest project—JASPER WRITES!

Hosted by Jasper Magazine poetry editor Ed Madden and editor-in-chief Cindi Boiter, the Jasper Project invites SC writers of both poetry and prose to submit their best work to us for publication consideration in a new segment on the Jasper Project website.

  • Our immediate goal is to cultivate an online space where SC writers and readers can visit for inspiration and pleasure and to bask in the abundant literary talent this state offers.

  • Our long-term goal is to collect samples of this talent from the accepted submissions to publish in a perfect bound compilation on a regular basis.

  • Our over-arching goal is to preserve for posterity the eloquence of the Southern voice as it is created in SC at this point in time.

Submission Guidelines may be found here.

Gracious welcome to our first two contributors, Jennifer Bartell and Gina Ercolini.
