Our Annual Holiday Market is returning to the Arts Center of Kershaw County, and we’re looking for talented local and regional artists to join us!
From December 4–13, the Bassett Gallery will be transformed into a festive marketplace featuring unique, handmade works perfect for holiday gifting.
The best part? You don’t have to be here the whole time! Our Arts Center staff will handle sales throughout the market. We simply ask participating artists to:
Keep your inventory replenished as items sell
Volunteer for one day during the market
Bring your creativity and help us make this year’s Holiday Market special!
Whether you create paintings, pottery, jewelry, textiles, woodworking, photography, handmade goods, or something entirely your own—we’d love to hear from you.

2027 ARTFIELDS SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW OPEN –
DEADLINE - NOVEMBER 1
All submissions must be completed and paid for by 11:59 PM on November 1st, 2026. Use our simple submission tool, ArtBooth, to upload your artwork photo, artist statement, and bio. The submission fee is $25.
Artists must reside in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, or West Virginia for at least 6 months and be over 18 years of age.
2. Acceptance
All submissions will be reviewed by an independent panel of arts professionals and rated on a scale from 1 to 10 (1 = lowest score; 10 = highest score).
Up to 400 artists receiving the top average ratings will be invited to exhibit and compete during the 2027 ArtFields Festival in Lake City, South Carolina.
All artists will be contacted about their submission status via e-mail in December 2026.
3. Invitation
Venues will view accepted artworks through a private gallery and work with the ArtFields team to choose which pieces to display.
Artists will be invited by the venue via email in February 2027.
To confirm participation, artists will electronically sign an Artist and Venue Hosting Agreement.
Then we’ll coordinate shipping/installation, and your artwork will become part of a town-wide celebration of art and compete for prize money!

Applications to participate in the Cottontown Art Crawl are now open.
All artists who wish to participate (including previous CAC participants and artists who reside in Cottontown) must complete the application (including payment) by Friday, October 16, 2026.
The 9th Annual Cottontown Art Crawl will take place on Saturday, March 6, 2027 from 10am-4pm. The rain date will be Sunday, March 7, from Noon-5pm.*
